Tenikwa home for the lesser known cats

lion

I had the privilege yesterday to spend some time at Tenikwa, a conservatory for cheetah as well as some of the “lesser known” cats from Africa. We had the most amazing time walking through the area and got to spend some face time with the cheetah, black-footed cat (only 1.5kg’s in size) and wild cats.

This place, as with the Elephant Park, are really well run and the guides and staff seem genuinely passionate about their charges. Once again I left feeling like a bit of a kid and truly enriched by the experience, well done to the team there.
