Well here we go 2009 and we are off!!

The first of hopefully many posts for 2009.

Sorry for the long break, but I decided that I needed to take some time and reflect on what it is that I want to achieve out of my blogging activity for 2009.  The 2008 year was really good for me and this blog has helped me to grow in leaps and bounds. I have made many new contacts through this site and have gained incredible insights into the way that people think and operate.

I am keen, for 2009, to continue with this learning and hope that those of you that read and take the time to comment will continue to help me in this.

Tomorrow will see the start of a plethora of posts (like that alliteration do you) that have been bobbing around with me for the past few weeks. Some business focused (obviously) others on the world and the political landscape we find ourselves in and many other things. The couch economist will be in full swing this year as we continue to see a worsening in the first six months of this year, with advice on how to clean up your act!
